The system covers five connected areas. Net worth tracking (assets minus liabilities, with month-by-month change). Investments — stocks, ETFs, crypto — with their allocation and performance. The monthly budget, comparing planned and actual, line by line. Savings goals, with the amount to set aside each month to hit the deadline. And the FIRE projector, which estimates the years left before financial independence using the 4% rule.
Everything is entered manually, and that’s deliberate: no bank connection, no aggregator, no data sent to Nexily or any third party. Allow fifteen minutes a month for the update — the routine is what makes the difference, not automation.

Frequently asked questions
Does the template connect to my bank?
No, and that’s a deliberate choice. Entry is manual: no bank credentials, no third-party aggregator. Your numbers stay in your own Notion workspace: nothing is sent to Nexily or any third-party service.
How long does it take to keep up to date?
About fifteen minutes a month: you update your account balances and categorise the month’s spending. Everything else recalculates on its own.
Do I need a paid Notion plan?
No. The template works fully on Notion’s free plan.
Does it work with other currencies?
For the amounts you enter, yes: their display format ($, €, £…) can be changed in the database properties. Amounts calculated by formulas keep their original format until you change it. The template doesn’t convert between currencies.
Is this investment advice?
No. It’s a tracking and organisation tool. It makes no buy or sell recommendations and doesn’t replace advice from a financial adviser.
Can I get a refund?
